Electrical Discharge Machining

Using modern, high-performance equipment, Profils Précision has mastered the art of electrical discharge machining. We are uniquely able to make very clean and precise cuts of any geometrical shape, in metal or any other conductive material (up to a maximum thickness of ten inches).

For example, using electrical discharge machining processes, Profiles Précision can design and manufacture any type of part for the aeronautical sector.  

Highly specialized digital control machining

Profils Précision also specializes in machining parts using its digital control machine-tool.

Drilling, tapping, 2D or 3D contours; the CNC (computer numerical command) machine can design parts of all shapes for the aeronautical, automotive, machinery, and manufacturing industries, among others.

Comprehensive plastic extrusion die design

From basic design to finished product, our expertise in designing and manufacturing plastic extrusion dies is widely known and recognized. 

For instance, Profils Précision can design the dies used to extrude plastic for manufacturing parts in industries such as windows & doors, fences, automotive, or any other applications involving extrusion.

Our specialists carry out the necessary design calculations then realize the plans and specifications required for manufacturing the tools according to the material used. This could be PVC, polyethylene, polystyrene, whether expanded or not, flexible PVC, ABS and other existing resins. Following this, they proceed to the actual machining of the future die, erosion cutting, assembly of component parts, and finishing (polishing) of the die.
